I don’t think I’ve blogged anything about my new gas sipping daily driver. Yup, Grippy got a Fiat. Of course the day I got it I searched for coilovers and ordered a set right away. This isn’t going to be a hardcore project. It’s just going to look nice going from A to B while saving me tons in Gas.

My new front treads came in today. I needed something to match the stretch of the rear Dunlops after putting them in the back and the chunky R888′s up front. It was fun with the R’s up front, but I hated the look. It’s time to slide anyways.

I picked up a couple more diecast cars. The GX61 Toyota is from Toyotafest (pics of real cars to come) and the Subaru is one I found on Ebay. I’ve always liked diecast, and it gives my imagination something to do when I am not in the real deal. The Toyota is the size of a matchbox car and the S204 is 1:48 scale so the definition between the two is different.

Here’s a couple of inspirational videos that give a more in depth look at the lifestyle brand we know as Fatlace and its owner Mark Arcenal. I’ve been working with these guys since 2002 as Mark talks about in the video when he mentions drifting and how hellaflush came about. I was rolling around with my parents borrowed $2,000 Sony 8mm video camera, which by todays standards would be low quality, filming all the drift days and fun we had at our large BBQ Meets. I could go into more detail about then and now, but just sit back and watch the RWB and History & Culture videos.
