I finally dropped the Chargespeed fenders off for paint. They should be done this week. I also put some fresh oil in. This Rotella T6 oil is the best stuff I’ve used. I’ve been running it for a year or more now.

I’ve really got the Suby bug once again. I’m hoping to get another platform later this year. I am open to keeping the STI, but I may let it go just depending. Anyways, I just saw this clean Forester posted on WFC and thought it was worth the post.

The STI is going under the knife soon and as usual I am always looking for new inspiration to pull from. This GC just has the right look, fitment, and everything. I am hoping to add a few cool points to my ride soon enough.

I’ve had these 20mm wider Chargespeed D-1 oem style fenders sitting in my kitchen (yeah I know) for a while now, and that my Caddy project is gone I thought it was time to get them ready for paint. They have a huge inner fender lip so the original fender liner can attach to it, but that kind of ruins the purpose of wider fenders if the fender is going to still be in the way of the tires. Also I don’t have but the back portion of the lining anyway. I trimmed the lip of it off, and then after the pictures smoothed them out so they are clean. I’m excited to get these on. I need to find the JDM sidemarkers for them also, but I may just see how much it will cost to shave those. I measure these and they are actually about 1″ wider than even my extremely pulled front fenders. I am going to need to step my wheel game up again!

I cleaned up the ride a little (2nd pic) and snapped some pics. I’ve been going back and forth on selling this car and doing more things to the STI. I would hate to see it go because it’s so funky fresh. I’ve have several offers, but of course I am always dealing with flakes. For the right about I’ll let it go, but for now I am rocking it every day!

Here’s a little update for the weekend. All my steering wheels came in. The Sparco is back in the STI. The Nardi is going in the E30, and I put an old JDM Baron Wood wheel in the Caddy. I think it looks dope!

I forgot that I didn’t post a pic after I put the Sparco in. I have a couple of other steering wheels coming in also. I will see which one will be the best, but I am really liking this one in it.

A couple of parts I’ve been waiting on have come during the holidays for the VW project. The drop plates for the rear are made out of some serious hunks of steel. I can’t wait to wrench away this weekend and finally get the truck dropped on those wheels I’ve had chilling. The sparco hub and steering wheel will also be a nice touch.
