random caddy day

I cleaned up the ride a little (2nd pic) and snapped some pics. I’ve been going back and forth on selling this car and doing more things to the STI. I would hate to see it go because it’s so funky fresh. I’ve have several offers, but of course I am always dealing with flakes. For the right about I’ll let it go, but for now I am rocking it every day!

updates

A couple of parts I’ve been waiting on have come during the holidays for the VW project. The drop plates for the rear are made out of some serious hunks of steel. I can’t wait to wrench away this weekend and finally get the truck dropped on those wheels I’ve had chilling. The sparco hub and steering wheel will also be a nice touch.

Check out my little collection of JDM old school rides.

pokey

My little tires came in for the Caddy. It was quite funny seeing all four tires in one reasonably sized box. The fitment turned out perfect as what I was thinking from my original test fit. I am waiting for the rear stuff to ship still. Hopefully I’ll have some complete cars pics around the corner. Also the fenders are not rolled yet in these picks either. I am not sure if I really need a pull or not yet.

rabbit project

I’ve wanted one of these strange looking VW Rabbit Trucks for as long as I could remember. I just love the way they look slammed on some wheels. I am using this as a daily driver. My woman is daily driving the E30, and my STI is just bad on gas stoplight to stoplight. I’d like to keep the miles down on the STI as much as possible also. I was lucky enough to find a good deal one this one when I was up north on Holiday. These typically go for 4-5 grand because they are pretty rare.
