spaced out

I finally got around to ordering longer studs so I could replace the 10mm rear spacers with 20mm. The fitment now matches the front nicely and the car sits pretty good. I am eventually going to switch out the entire suspension setup for something a little stiffer and better for going low without bottoming out.

I picked up some new and cheap rear tires for drifting fun for the E30. I go through tires alot so keeping it cheap and fun is perfect for what the E30 does. I went with 195/55/15 to go on the 15×10 so it would match the stretch that the 185/55/15 has on the front 15×9 wheels. The tires come in at about 10-20 bucks cheaper a tire than the 205/55/15 I ran previous. I will be spacing the rear wheels out another 10mm to even things out also.

My friend finally got his wheels and tires in for his Celica Supra. It’s probably the cleanest original Mk2 Supra I’ve seen. The meaty/stretch on wide wheels fits the old school Toyota muscle look. I’ll have some pics of the Supra up soon. He needs to come down about an inch more in front, but he needs to order new coilover springs. Then it will be ready for a legit shoot.

15×10

I’ve been waiting on these new rear wheels for some time now to make it from Asia. They are finally here! I bought the R888’s to mount on them because I knew they would run wide, and I didn’t want too much stretch. The result is near perfect fitment, and you cannot get this car to break loose with these tires. I am in love. Oh btw the wheels are from 6UL/949racing and weigh in at 13.8 pounds.

The car is dirty so more pics will come later on!
